The two ways that I am familiar with getting permanent residence/citizenship are 1. Have a company hire you/prove that you have unique skills/get a job or 2. Marry a Canadian. I am not interested in working and am an early retiree. So I plan to go to art school at Emily Carr in 2008 or 2009 and start out as a student. Are there any other ways to obtain ciitzenship if you are no longer pursuing a career? One friend told me that you have to have $400K in assets, any ideas about this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
